Scincetist Day !



Last Thursday , the 8th of September we had scientist day . The experiments we did was...



bubbly drink, dissolving, static Electricity, magic balloon, will it mix, diving currants, and best of all corny goo. My favourite was stacitc Electricty and magic balloon it was one of the best days days at school. It was very very very very fun !

old beenleigh town

On Monday may 30 we went to Beenleigh historical Village we spited in to 4 groups. The first place I went was the one teacher school at the school at the school paper was to dear so we had to use a small chalk bored at the school they had a cane to whip kids if they are naughty if they were left handed they would whip them. After that we went tom the a cottage and we washed clothes in the olden days they did not have a dryer they had a clothes mangle we got to use one and it was almost 100 years old.

our onions





On Friday the class planted herbs and vegetables the plant that me and my group grow was onions. I wonder how tall they will grow ? when they get bigger we will put them in our own garden. Now they are about 10cm but they need to be bigger to go in the garden.


fact: When you cut onions they make you cry :(

Our visit to grade one!


A couple of days ago we visited the grade ones we tort them about healthy food we had to speak to a grade one

boys went to a girl and a girls went to a boy.I had girl named Jamie we both talked about healthy food .

I even brought a healthy food chart and some palm cards so i don t' forget what to say. Me and Jamie had a

blast !

Ngutana-lui


On Monday we went to Ngutana-Lui which is a place where they teach you about Torres Strait Islanders and Aboriginal people.

The boys got to do a boy dance and the girls got to do a girl Dance.

We got to see what Aboriginal people eat in the bush and

how they live in the bush and it was very fun!

Apples ain't Apples


Yesterday we had a visit from the Brisbane markets and we learnt about apples. We got to see where foods grow and we got to try green apples and red apples!
